With the 2026-2027 school year right around the corner I wanted to share some information about Rankone and our electronic forms as some things have changed. The UIL is requiring some new information as it pertains to what must be entered for us to have everything we need. Thanks to Coach Pruitt for creating the graphic which explains everything out. PLEASE be aware you might have to be on a computer to complete all of the forms as when I checked the PAPF portion was not available as of yet through the mobile apps.
For incoming freshmen and any students coming in from outside of Fort Worth ISD, being a magnet school our freshmen population will not be automatically graduated so we can see them. What this means for you, you will need to reach out to your head coaches and see what they want done. For the majority first day of school will be more than alright. For all other sports I am sure this process will be talked about first couple days of class.
PLEASE understand and be patient with us, as a magnet school we do not get the luxury as all the other schools do within the district. When a student graduates the 8th grade their files are automatically bumped to their high school to view. We are different in the way that it takes some time for our data system (Focus) and Rankone to match up. The time length varies year to year so please be patient with us. If you have been in the district and want to go ahead and fill out the electronic paperwork please feel free to do so. Understand we will not be able to see it until as mentioned Focus and Rankone matches up. If you are in the sports mentioned above, they might send home paper copies to be completed and returned so we have everything we need.
As a reminder, ALL FWISD student athletes are required to have a NEW physical every year. For the 2026-2027 school year those physicals MUST BE POST MARKED AFTER 05/01/2026. If you have any questions please let me (Jason.braud@fwisd.org).
